Healthcare Analytics Lean In Conference, also known as HALICON, is a premier data science and emerging tech conference in healthcare and life sciences organized by MinneAnalytics, the nation’s largest regional analytics community and events organization. MinneAnalytics, a nonprofit organization, serves the data analytics, machine learning and emerging technology community in Minnesota, and beyond by providing accessible, authentic, and engaging events.
Hundreds of professional engineers, data scientists, leaders, and executives discuss the latest topics in data science and analytics, including artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), deep learning (DL), natural language processing (NLP), and more.
HALICON 2019 included over 50 sessions, panel discussions, and start-up showcase. Over 60 stellar subject matter experts were invited to present on emerging technologies and case studies in the presence of over 800 professionals. Invited speakers included industry leaders, executives, and experts in Data Science, AI, ML, DL, NLP, and Data Engineering.

Data Challenge 2019
Data Challenge is an annual week-long data analytics and exploration event at the University of Maryland, a global leader in research, entrepreneurship, and innovation, UMD is a home for more than 37,000 students from 48 states and 118 countries.
Hundreds of participants from undergrad, masters and Ph.D. programs embark on an exciting 7-days journey of problem-solving, data-wrangling, and machine learning to provide business intelligence solutions to real-world problems. Over 30 teams with various backgrounds and skill set showcased their work by presenting to the invited experts and the other esteemed guests during Data Challenge 2019.
Jayesh evaluated final products by theme integration, innovation, quality, results, and presentation using the scoring rubric and a scorecard on the UMD provided iPad on Judging Day on 03/02/2019.
SRND's best-known program, CodeDay, is a worldwide event which is held simultaneously three times each year in nearly 50 cities. CodeDay is a 24-hour programming marathon where thousands of programmers, artists, musicians, actors, and everyone else get together and build apps & games of their own design.
Jayesh reviewed innovative solutions during the First CodeDay of 2019, selected winners and awarded them the certificate and prizes.
1. 35k+ attended over 350 CodeDays since 2011
2. 75% of participants with little-to-no interest in Computer Science. Later, 65% of them registered for a CS major in College.
3. CodeDays have created 25k+ new programmers in over 50 cities
Greater San Diego Science & Engineering Fair 2019
The Greater San Diego Science & Engineering Fair,
GSDSEF is the only science competition in the San Diego/ Imperial County area to inspire young scientists in many fields of STEM. This regional competition challenges young engineers to go beyond classroom studies to do independent research, to develop innovative solutions, and to present and defend results to invited judges.
Approximately 12,000 science projects are submitted each year to the GSDSEF, where they are put through a stringent review by GSDSEF trained screening committee. The top 800 to 1,000 projects are identified, and 800+ participants are invited to apply to showcase their projects at the GSDSEF. At the Fair, participants present their science projects to be judged by invited subject matter experts who evaluate the projects for excellence in scientific research.
Jayesh interviewed participants, reviewed their projects, scored them and determined winners for various categories of awards.
Orange County Science and Engineering Fair 2019
The Orange County Science and Engineering Fair is an annual science competition for 6th through 12th-grade students from Orange County public, parochial and private schools. More than 600 participants in OCSEF represent some of the best in Orange County, and they compete for OCSEF Board awards in 20 categories and for special awards from over 25 professional corporations.
Since 1955, the OCSEF has been guiding, motivating, and educating students to engage in project-based learning in all fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) with the aim of being college and career ready in the 21st century. For over 60 years, the OCSEF has been encouraging young minds to learn scientific and engineering concepts and to drive innovations through hands-on experimentation.
Jayesh represented judge panel, ranked highly ambitious projects from hundreds of participants and chose winners for various categories.
